When selling a property so many people just think about the inside forgetting all about the exterior.  The “Kerb appeal” is so important, it could put a lot of people off if the outside is scruffy, they may walk away without even knocking on the door.
I look at the house as a whole, and in no time at all can have the garden looking, if not quite Kew gardens at least tamed and tidy.
